Hotel Refund Policy
This hotel refund policy explains how refunds, cancellations, changes, no-shows, shortened stays, payment reversals, and provider cancellations are handled for accommodation bookings made through this platform. By booking accommodation, you agree that the refund amount and refund eligibility depend on the specific rate plan, cancellation deadline, accommodation provider rules, payment method, and applicable law.
General Refund Principles
- The cancellation and refund rules shown during checkout form part of the booking conditions and should be reviewed carefully before payment.
- Some hotel bookings are fully refundable before a stated deadline, some are partially refundable, and some are non-refundable from the time of booking.
- A refund is normally calculated after deducting any applicable cancellation fee, no-show fee, payment processing fee, bank fee, currency conversion difference, local tax, service charge, or provider penalty.
- Refunds are usually returned to the original payment method used for the booking unless another method is required by law, payment processor rules, or operational limitations.
- Service fees, convenience fees, payment fees, insurance, add-ons, rewards, coupons, promotional credits, or third-party charges may be non-refundable unless the booking page states otherwise.
Refundable Bookings
- If a booking is marked as refundable, the user may cancel before the stated deadline and receive a refund according to the displayed policy.
- The cancellation deadline is usually based on the local time of the accommodation, not the user's home time zone.
- After the free cancellation deadline passes, the accommodation provider may charge a cancellation fee equal to one night, several nights, a percentage of the booking value, or the full booking amount.
- If a refundable booking included a deposit or prepayment, the refundable part will be returned after the cancellation request is accepted and processed.
Non-Refundable Bookings
- If a booking is marked as non-refundable, the accommodation provider may keep the full booking amount if the user cancels, changes, does not arrive, or cannot use the booking.
- Non-refundable rates are often cheaper because they carry stricter cancellation rules.
- Requests for exceptions may be submitted, but approval is not guaranteed and remains subject to provider policy, supplier approval, and applicable law.
- Medical events, transport delays, visa refusal, personal emergencies, weather, or change of plans do not automatically make a non-refundable booking refundable unless required by law or accepted by the provider.
No-Show and Early Departure
- If the guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date, the booking may be treated as a no-show and may not be refundable.
- If the guest arrives late, the guest should notify the accommodation as soon as possible. Failure to notify may result in cancellation of the reservation.
- If the guest leaves earlier than the confirmed check-out date, unused nights may be non-refundable unless the provider approves a partial refund.
- Shortened-stay refund requests may require confirmation from the accommodation provider and may take longer to process.
Provider Cancellation or Unavailable Accommodation
- If the accommodation provider cancels a confirmed booking or cannot provide the reserved accommodation, reasonable assistance may be offered, such as refund support, rebooking support, or help finding an alternative option where available.
- If an alternative accommodation is accepted by the user, any price difference, inclusions, location difference, or policy difference will be handled according to the specific replacement offer.
- If no suitable alternative is accepted or available, the user may be eligible for a refund of the amount paid for the unavailable accommodation, subject to confirmation and applicable law.
Refund Timing
- Approved refunds are initiated after the cancellation request, provider confirmation, fraud checks, and payment processor checks are completed.
- Once initiated, the time for funds to appear depends on the card issuer, bank, payment network, payment method, currency, and country.
- Currency conversion differences, foreign transaction fees, bank fees, or card issuer charges are controlled by third parties and may not be refundable.
Flight Refund Policy
This flight refund policy applies to airline tickets, flight add-ons, cancellations, schedule changes, passenger no-shows, rebooking requests, airline credits, and refunds for flights reserved through this platform. Airline refunds are primarily controlled by the fare rules of the ticket, the airline's contract of carriage, the operating carrier, and applicable passenger rights laws.
General Flight Refund Rules
- Flight tickets may be refundable, partially refundable, non-refundable, changeable with fees, or non-changeable depending on the selected fare.
- A ticket is not guaranteed to be refundable simply because the passenger cannot travel, misses the flight, lacks required documents, or changes plans.
- Airline penalties, fare differences, supplier fees, platform service fees, payment fees, and tax rules may reduce the final refund amount.
- Some taxes may be refundable even when the base fare is non-refundable, depending on airline rules and applicable law.
- Refunds can only be requested for unused ticket value unless the airline rules allow a refund for partly used tickets.
Cancellation by the Passenger
- If the passenger cancels a refundable fare before departure, a refund may be available after deducting any applicable airline and service fees.
- If the passenger cancels a non-refundable fare, the airline may provide no refund, a partial tax refund, an airline credit, a travel voucher, or another remedy allowed by the fare rules.
- Cancellation must be requested before the airline's required deadline. Missing the deadline may cause the ticket value to be lost.
- Refunds for tickets purchased with coupons, rewards, credits, or mixed payment methods may be returned in the same form or according to the relevant program rules.
Airline Cancellation, Delay, or Schedule Change
- If the airline cancels a flight or makes a significant schedule change, the passenger may be eligible for options such as rebooking, rerouting, airline credit, refund, or statutory compensation where applicable.
- The exact remedy depends on the airline, route, country, reason for disruption, ticket type, and applicable passenger rights rules.
- If the passenger accepts a rebooking, alternative flight, travel credit, or voucher, this may affect eligibility for a cash refund.
- Weather, air traffic control, airport closure, security events, strikes, border restrictions, or force majeure events may limit available remedies depending on law and airline policy.
No-Show, Missed Flights, and Unused Segments
- If a passenger does not check in, does not board, arrives late, or misses the first flight segment, the airline may mark the ticket as a no-show.
- A no-show may cause all remaining segments in the itinerary to be cancelled by the airline without refund.
- Passengers are responsible for checking travel documents, visa rules, transit requirements, health rules, airport timings, and connection times before travel.
- Denied boarding caused by missing documents, incorrect passenger names, invalid identification, or passenger conduct is not normally refundable unless required by law.
Baggage, Seats, and Add-Ons
- Checked baggage, cabin baggage upgrades, seat selection, meals, priority boarding, special equipment, pet transport, and other extras follow airline-specific refund rules.
- Some add-ons are non-refundable once purchased, even if the base ticket is changed or cancelled.
- If the airline cancels a flight and refunds the ticket, eligible unused add-ons may be refunded according to airline policy.
Refund Timing
- Flight refunds may require airline approval before they can be processed.
- Airline refund approval can take additional time, especially for partly used tickets, schedule changes, involuntary cancellations, or manual review cases.
- After approval, funds are normally returned to the original payment method or issued as airline credit, voucher, coupon, or rewards according to the fare rules.
Tour and Activity Refund Policy
This tour refund policy applies to guided tours, excursions, attraction tickets, local experiences, day trips, activity bookings, events, admission products, and other services supplied by tour operators or activity providers. Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation policy displayed during booking, the provider's rules, availability, start time, weather conditions, and applicable law.
General Tour Refund Rules
- Some tours are refundable if cancelled before a stated deadline, while others become non-refundable immediately after confirmation.
- Refunds are calculated after deducting provider penalties, ticketing fees, payment fees, supplier charges, and any non-refundable components.
- Tickets for attractions, shows, events, museums, theme parks, or timed-entry experiences may be non-refundable once issued.
- Personal expenses, transport to the meeting point, meals not included, optional upgrades, tips, insurance, and unused inclusions are not refundable unless the provider states otherwise.
Cancellation by the User
- If the user cancels before the free cancellation deadline, a refund may be available according to the booking policy.
- If the user cancels after the deadline, the provider may charge a partial fee or the full booking amount.
- Changes to date, time, route, participant count, language, pickup location, or activity option are subject to provider approval, availability, and price differences.
- Once an activity has started, refunds are generally not available for unused time, missed segments, personal dissatisfaction, or voluntary withdrawal.
Late Arrival and No-Show
- The user is responsible for arriving at the correct meeting point by the confirmed time.
- Late arrival, wrong meeting point, failure to bring required documents, failure to meet age or health requirements, or inability to contact the user may be treated as a no-show.
- No-shows are normally non-refundable because the provider reserved capacity, staff, transport, tickets, or equipment for the booking.
Provider Cancellation, Weather, and Safety
- If the provider cancels before the activity starts, the user may be offered a refund, alternative date, replacement activity, or credit where available.
- Outdoor, adventure, marine, mountain, wildlife, winter, or air activities may depend on weather, safety decisions, route access, minimum participants, or local operating conditions.
- If the provider determines that conditions are unsafe, the provider may cancel, delay, shorten, or modify the activity.
- If an activity is changed but still substantially delivered, refund eligibility will depend on the provider policy and the nature of the change.
Participant Requirements
- Refunds may be denied if the user cannot participate because of missing identification, age restrictions, health limitations, mobility restrictions, intoxication, unsafe behavior, unsuitable clothing, or failure to follow instructions.
- The user is responsible for checking whether the activity is suitable for all participants before booking.
- Travel insurance is recommended for tours involving physical activity, remote locations, weather dependency, or strict cancellation rules.
Refund Timing
- Tour refunds may require confirmation from the activity provider before processing.
- Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method, subject to payment processor and bank timelines.
- Refunds for third-party tickets, timed-entry products, or bundled services may take longer where supplier verification is needed.
Cab, Transfer, and Ground Transport Refund Policy
This refund policy applies to airport transfers, private cars, taxis, ride services, chauffeur services, shuttles, shared transfers, point-to-point transfers, hourly hire, and other ground transport booked through this platform. Refunds depend on the transport provider's cancellation policy, pickup time, vehicle type, waiting time, route, passenger information, and applicable law.
General Transport Refund Rules
- Some transport bookings are refundable if cancelled before a stated deadline, while others are non-refundable or subject to cancellation fees.
- Refunds are calculated after deducting provider charges, waiting time, parking fees, tolls, airport fees, payment fees, currency conversion differences, and other non-refundable costs.
- Special vehicle requests, child seats, accessibility equipment, additional stops, large luggage, pets, and premium vehicles may have stricter cancellation rules.
- Once a ride has started, unused distance or unused time is generally not refundable unless the provider failed to deliver the agreed service.
Cancellation by the User
- If the user cancels before the free cancellation deadline, a refund may be available according to the booking policy.
- If the user cancels after the deadline, the transport provider may charge a cancellation fee or the full booking amount.
- Changes to pickup time, pickup address, destination, route, number of passengers, luggage, vehicle type, or flight details are subject to provider approval and may require additional payment.
- If a requested change cannot be accepted and the user does not use the original booking, the original cancellation policy will apply.
No-Show, Waiting Time, and Incorrect Details
- The user must be ready at the confirmed pickup location at the confirmed time.
- If the user is not present, cannot be contacted, provides an incorrect pickup point, provides an incorrect flight or train number, exceeds the included waiting time, or chooses not to travel, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
- No-shows are normally non-refundable because the driver, vehicle, and route capacity were reserved.
- Airport, port, and station pickups may include limited waiting time. Additional waiting time may be charged if the provider agrees to wait.
Provider Cancellation or Service Failure
- If the transport provider cancels the booking before pickup, the user may be offered a refund, alternative provider, alternative vehicle, or new pickup time where available.
- If the provider does not arrive within the applicable pickup and waiting window and no reasonable alternative is provided, the user may be eligible for a refund after verification.
- Claims for service failure may require evidence such as booking details, pickup time, messages, call records, receipts, photos, or confirmation from the provider.
- Refunds are not normally available for delays caused by traffic, road closures, police controls, border checks, weather, incorrect user details, or passenger delay unless required by law or provider policy.
Extra Charges and Partial Refunds
- Additional charges may apply for extra stops, route changes, excess luggage, additional passengers, waiting time, tolls, parking, cleaning, damage, pets, child seats, or after-hours service.
- If an extra charge was correctly incurred, it may be deducted from any refund or charged separately.
- If a lower vehicle category or shorter route is voluntarily accepted by the user, any partial refund depends on provider approval and the final service delivered.
Refund Timing
- Transport refunds may require provider verification before processing.
- Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method after payment processor checks are completed.
- The time for funds to appear depends on the bank, card issuer, payment method, country, and currency.
